solman Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 The Kingfisher house belonging to Vijay Mallaya is under SBI's scanner as it wishes it to sell it after seizing it. The consortium of 17 banks including SBI have sanctioned around 800 crores to Vijaya Mallaya's King fisher airliners. SBI is of the opinion that by selling the King fisher house, it will be able to meet some borrowings. Another house in the Goa belonging to Vijaya Mallaya is also under SBI's possession. It is expected that, around 100 crores can be made by SBI by means of selling it. It is to be recalled that King fisher airlines has stopped airline services since oct 2012. Even its licence was also cancelled.
