Maximum they make you pay at every step for the process u enter US H1B - Filing Application fee. consultancy ki pay cheyyali mana own money(konni desi companies) VISA - fee in india for visa slots Flight and hotel tickets - to travel to US Anni pay chesina final ga immigration at port of entry might send u back. After entering US you pay - Social Security taxes, car, medical and house insurance, state and federal taxes and can become bankrupt anytime due to medical costs - Even if u buy a house still u might get stuck in India if VISA is not approved and u might loose your whole life savings - Pay for every extension of H1B (some even got for 4 months extension only) and pay double for premium processing which is again not guaranteed for approval - EAD vocchina tharavaatha we should keep paying every year to renew it to maintain the status and also advance parole ki money kattali every time - EAD vocchina we need to be always in a job otherwise we will be out of status Final ga GC vocchina adi eppudaina revoke cheyyocchu. so summary enti ante we pay them to screw us anytime through out our stay in US. it is a legalized slavery.

GP, Once my employer told me that USCIS is one of the few federal agencies that is cash rich and gives back money to the federal government and the US govt wants to keep it that way because it is their cash cow and immigrants cannot complain about the high fees as they have no voting rights...
