The bigger concern should the fact that they've announced 12% reservation for minorities, which goes against the spirit of the constitution itself. Lets see what laws they twist to bring it forth. All this is just a "hello World" to secular India from the latest entrant state of Telangana. Watch out for things to come. Here is highlights of Sania's patriotism and sportsmanship... 1) Refused to hold an Indian Flag in London Olympics 2012 (ref. image) 2) In 2006, wanted to grab prime Land on pretext of opening a tennis academy (wanted more despite being given land and money for the purpose) 3) Refused to team up with an Israeli player in 2006, blamed it on hardliners. No one said a word when she teamed up with another Israeli a few years later. 4) Disrespected the National Flag in 2008 (ref. image) 5) Broke the Olympic contingent dress code in 2008 Beijing Olympics 6) Boycotted Indian tennis tournaments in the same year, 2008. 7) Married a Pakistani cricketer in 2012 (Not a crime but doesn't sound brand ambassador-ish if she is representing a state in India!) 8) Now claims to be Indian after a BJP minister opposed her being named the Brand ambassador for Telangana.
