From last 2 moths ABN is barking and doing what all he can do to ,like lobbying with center ,making ABN journalist to take out rally and dharnas ,pressurizing TDP and BJP leaders to give statements against ban etc..But none of it  has yielded any result and even high court has not also helped ! Even if ABN goes to supreme court it will take atleast 3 to 6 moths for the court to take a decision on it..Even TRAI rules state that the MSOs should and must telecast DD Channels and MSO's are not obliged to telecast other channels compulsorily ..like MSOs in north Indian villages and towns may not carry telugu or south Indian Channels !

Moreover there is a clause in TRAI rules that MSOs can take any channel off ,if they find the content inappropriate or if the subscriber express the concerns against any channels.So they can argue based on this clause !

 

Now after the ban ABN rating has gone down to bottom..

 

Note:The ratings are for all AP combined..if you consider only for Telangana,it will much absurd for ABN.And advertisers pay for ads/slots based on these ratings !

I agree with you that banning is not solution.

But as long as public /cable subscribers are OK with it MSOs may not have any problem..but if subscribers demand to telecast they MSOs have to do it !
