Story:

 

 

Seenu (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) is an orphan and he has the best buddy and caretaker in the form of Narasimha (Prakash Raj) who is also an orphan. Bhai (Prakash Raj) - a lookalike of Narasimha is a major mafia figure in Hyderabad. Seenu comes to know about it and plots a scheme to use Narasimha to gain money and a girl Anjali (Samantha) he loved at the first sight. The rest of the story is all about what happens when Bhai realises the ploy of Seenu.

 

 

Performances: 

 

 

Bellamkonda Srinivas was impresivve in his debut, his performance was fine for a first timer and also excelled in dances and fights.  Samantha was okay as female lead as she doesn't have much scope. Prakashraj did two roles, one of a villain and another one a positive and supporting role to the hero. He lived up to his potential and added value to the movie with his screen presence. Brahmi was usual and his comedy worked out very well in pre climax . Tanikella Bharani, Raghubabu, Ravibabu and others were okay in their roles.

 

 

Technical Departments: 

 

 

Story-Screenplay-Direction: Story is tried and tested,successful formula oriented one for telugu movies from since long time. Screenplay was alright for the first half, Love track between Lead pair was good and comedy was also good in parts. But the movie loses the momentum right from the moment it shifts to sharjah ,the comedy scenes were just passable. Only in pre climax the comedy scenes worked the way they had to. Climax was okay. V V Vinayak made sure that all the commercial elements are present in the movie but more care on characters and emotional quotient could have made much difference.

 

 

Other Departments: Dialogues were alright. Camera work was too good and especially in songs. Editing was okay. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is a big plus to the movie, all songs were good on screen and background was also good. Action sequences were okay.

 

 

My Rating: 5.5/10

 

 

 

Analysis: Alludu Seenu is time pass flick for regular movie goers. Entertainment in parts, Music and debutante hero are it's plus points where as weak second half and nil emotional quotient are it's minus points.
