Wrestler Sushil Kumar beat Pakistan' Qamar Abbas in the men's 74kg final to win gold at the Commonwealth Games on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, Amit Kumar won the gold medal in the men's freestyle 57kg category while Vinesh bagged the yellow metal in women's 48kg category to lift their country position in medal standings.

Amit Kumar defeated Nigerian Ebikweminomo Welson 3-1 in the final while Vinesh beat England's Yana Rattigan 11-8.
