afuser Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 you can still work for old employer even after new H1-B is approved but you should not for 2 different employers at the same time.
Silent_Boy Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 you can work with old employer even if your h1 approves with new employer. But make sure not to run payroll with new employer at that time. Which triggers many issues.
badexample Posted July 29, 2014 Report Posted July 29, 2014 You CAN WORK for both employer for a period not more than 3 months. If you do, it will be a problem during your green card process. H1 approve ayyi after you move to your new employer, imagine you have pending payments from your old employer, he can only pay you by running payroll kada? So, this is your reason why you have both employers running your payroll for limited period of time. Anyway in your case it wont be more than a month because you will get an answer from uscis before that if you do in PP. Tell your current employer once your new H1 is approved, not until then. Good luck!
