AP Municipal administration minister P. Narayana said effrts are afofot to identify 300 acres of land in Anantapur for the estabklhsment of an NIT (National Institute of Technology) there. He said the AP Cabinet has taken a decision to set up the NIT in the district and 300 acres of land is required for it as per the Central government norms. Apart from Narayana, state IT minister P. Raghunatha Reddy also took part in an official meeting aimed at identifying the land. Efforts will be made to identify the land which will be as close as possible to the town, Narayana said
