My government has brought down the power deficit in the state from 22 million units per day to zero. I will implement the “Power for All” programme in Andhra Pradesh from October 2, 2014. This initiative will ensure 24x7 power supply to all domestic, commercial and industrial consumers. Special focus will given to consumers by strict implementation of Citizen Charter and IVRS-based system to obtain feedback from consumers. I'm sure that Andhra Pradesh will become a model state in the power sector within one year.

Giving Solar Power Generation in AP a major thrust, the Government of India will help add around 4000 MW of solar power within the next 2 years. AP will become the Country’s leading solar power producer in the near future
