TDP MP from AP Sujana Chowdary felt that the ban on TV9 and Andhra Jyothi ABN channels in Telangana is unconstitutional and told that it is unconstitutional to impose restrictions on media unofficially . He clarified that they put a requisition in Parliament and felt the need to redress that grievance by appointing an appellate committee on this issue . He suggested that the media should have been punished by imposing penalty instead of unofficial action .
