Raja Ravi Varma Paintings Exhibition In Tirupati

An exhibition of great Indian painter and artist Raja Ravi Verma is being held in the temple town of Tirupati at the Annamayya Cultural centre in SV University. Ravi Verma belonged to the princely state of Travancore and is famous for paintings depicting scenes from the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharatha as also other Indian literature. Tirupati-based artist Singampalli Satyanarayana has helped organize the exhibition. Painter Singampalli said today's youth should know about Ravi Verma and his paintings.
