BJP senior leader and Union Urban Development minister Venkaiah Naidu met Chief ministers of AP and a Telangana and sought a report on programmes under Urban Development and Rural development ministries. Venkaiah said he had met Chandrababu and KCR and reviewed development programmes because development took a backseat during the previous undivided AP government regime, as bifurcation issue loomed large then. He said both the CMs to hold talks on contentious issues. KCR suggested to Venkaiah to hold zonal-level meeting of Chief Ministers.
