Story:

 

Raja (Sharwanand) is a fun guy who keeps on going after girls. His girl friends keep on breaking up with him. He finally falls in love with Priya (Seerat Kapoor) who is the daughter of police commissioner (Sampath Raj). There are serial kidnaps happening in the town and cops are unable to crack them. The rest of the story is all about what happens to the love story and how the kidnaps are connected with the love story.

 

 

Performances: After a long time sharwanand has done non serious role and a happy go lucky guy unlike his previous films. He is energetic throughout the film, performed with ease and his comedy timing was too good. Sheerat Kapoor was good as female lead.  Sampath was perfect for the villain role. Jayaprakash was apt for hero's father role. Adivi sesh was very much impressive in a key supporting role. Vennela Kishore's comedy was good. Others all were apt in their roles.

 

 

Technical Deparments;

 

 

Story-Screenplay-Direction: Storyline is not new but debutante director sujeeth made it look like a different one by giving it a touch of romantic comedy first and then the movie takes the route of crime thriller. Screenplay for the first half is very good, though the first half is lengthy, entertainment provided by lead pair romance track  was good. Sujeeth was very much successful in inserting situational comedy through out the film .As expected second half graph goes down for the first half an hour in second half, but last half an hour is full of series of twists, director did not tried to inject the shock factor when twists are revealed. Overall Sujeeth has done a commendable job in his first film.

 

 

 

Other Departments; Dialogues written by director himself are too good and one of the plus points for the movie.Camera work by Madhi was too good with colorful and rich visuals. Editing is very good. Music by gibran is adequate, songs in first half were okay, but in second half they were ineffective, background score was fine. 

 

 

 

My Rating; 6.5/10

 

 

 

Analysis: Run Raja Run- A Well made Crime Thriller, though second half had some lag, Debutante director Sujeeth's writing skills, sharwanand's performance work for the movie
