Supreme court has directed both the states to complete the counseling for EAMCET admissions before 31st of August and commence studies in colleges from September 1st week.

Posting the case for August 11 again the apex court advised both the states to not let the impact of the state bifurcation have any bad effect on students and affect their academic studies. It is a common knowledge that both the Telangana and AP state have their own Higher studies council which is conducting counseling for students of their region. AP CM has offered to pay 58 % of the total for his state students in Telangana colleges as the norm of all division of resources between 13 districts of AP and 10 districts of Telangana.

KCR government, which insisted that they would give fee reimbursement with year 1956 as cut off , got a setback in Supreme Court. The court ordered that nativity should be determined as per the President's orders. It rejected Telangana government's request to grant some more time to conduct EAMCET counselling. It ordered that the EAMCET counselling should be completed by the end of 31st of August. The case was adjourned to Monday. It is expected that the Court would deliver final judgement.
