Chetan bhagat start chesina taruvata many people from IIT and IIM started publishing there works . I personally met few ppl in IIT mumbai who are very good at writing stories and Poems. They are not the best but connects well with indian youth. But indian full time authors always criticize them for there writing skills. Few other books if you are interested : (1) Anything for you ma'am - This authors is my brothers roomates friend (2) Love life and dream (3) A roller coaster ride. (4) Oops I fell in love. and "How opal mehta got kissed got wild and got a life" ani oka harvard ABCD graduate Kavya Vishwanatha rasindi , and she also faced charges for plagarism but worth reading oka 1 to 2 pages copy kottindi line to line from a foreign author book. And also White Tiger - By Arvind Adiga and Kite Runner is also recommended
