zzeb Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I have a question regarding property purchase in India. Found a plot in a residential development in Vizag that i would like to buy. Question i have is while doing registration should i buy it in my name and put my father or mother as secondary or do the reverse that is buy it on mother's or father's name and put myself as secondary. Which option would be more convenient if i decide to sell it after some time? As I'm here in the US, na peru meedha konukkuntein evaiyna problems avuthaya? Any suggestions or advice please :)
Potugaadu Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 if its not agri land and its coverted( as you said its residential,it should be) - then better to get registered in your name You can send reqd documentation from overseas and they can register on your name

But yes having additional property on either of their name is helpful.
