micxas Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I have a question regarding property purchase in India. Found a plot in a residential development in Vizag that i would like to buy. Question i have is while doing registration should i buy it in my name and put my father or mother as secondary or do the reverse that is buy it on mother's or father's name and put myself as secondary. Which option would be more convenient if i decide to sell it after some time? As I'm here in the US, na peru meedha konukkuntein evaiyna problems avuthaya? Any suggestions or advice please :) secondary ante ela pedataru nominee aa ? CITI#H@ or co-ownership aa
zzeb Posted August 11, 2014 Author Report Posted August 11, 2014 secondary ante ela pedataru nominee aa ? CITI#H@ or co-ownership aa Micxas- I meant co-owenership. Just checked the sale deed of a different plot we bought in 2011. There is no mention of primary or secondary. But i was told that the individual whose name comes first in the deed, acts as a de-facto primary owner who can sell the plot if need be. In the absence of this individual, the guy whose name comes later can exercise this right. But please note, that i am not well educated in these matters, and get these things confirmed from someone qualified.
