Pulasa fish curry is the mouth watering dish of the food lovers and the availability of this fish is very rare and it is confined to Godavari only and its availability is confined to a particular point of time in August and September when flood waters turn Godavari red. This fish will change its colour and along with it the taste also gets better when it enters the waters of the Godavari from the sea for spawning .

only godavari is not true.. bengal lo kuda delta area lo dorukuthundhi.. that is actually marine but floods time lo fresh water loki vasthundhi for laying eggs.. mana desi markets lo frozen dorukthundhi if anyone wants to try here same taste raadhu but atleast u will have an idea..
