The High Court asked the Telangana government not to trouble any one over the Comprehensive Household Survey. The court observed that the people's participation in the survey has to be optional choice. The case was adjourned, after recording the Advocate General's statement on Telangana government's version on the survey. The Advocate General said that the participation in the survey was not mandatory and it was only optional. He further added that the survey was meant for implementation of the welfare schemes only.
