Announcing this at the valedictory function of Andhra Cricket Association Diamond Jubilee celebrations here on Sunday, Minister for Sports and Labour K Atchannaidu said that the Chief Minister was bidding for the games so as to develop sports infrastructure in all the 13 districts with Visakhapatnam as the centre of activity. "About Rs 2,000 crore of Central Government and Urban development funds would be available for the purpose and the entire State would benefit by it.Visakhapatnam will be developed as a sports hub," he added. Chairman of International Cricket Council, N Srinivasan, lighting the lamp to mark the inauguration of Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Minister for Sports K Atchannaidu, HRD Minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, ACA president DV Subba Rao, secretary and MP Gokaraju Ganga Raju are seen He also said that the Andhra Cricket Association was being allotted a 13-acre site for construction of a good cricket stadium in Srikakulam. He observed that there was a lot of craze for cricket in the rural areas and ACA should focus on it to produce skilled cricketers. It should also encourage other sports and games besides cricket, he felt. Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao said Vizag would be developed as sports capital of the state and national games would be a great opportunity the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was looking for. A new sports policy was getting ready to encourage sports which would result in a sound body and mind enabling a positive attitude, he stated. ACA president D V Subba Rao said India contributed 80 per cent of cricket revenue of the world and hoped with N Srinivasan at the helm of International Cricket Council, a world of good was expected to cricket and India. Chief guest N Sriniasan, ACA honorary secretary and MP Gokaraju Gangaraju, vice-presidents DVSS Somayajulu and N Mohandas, BCCI interim president Shivlal Yadav, secretary Sanjay Patel, Goa Cricket Association president Vinod Phadke, secretary Chetan Joshi, Ace spinner Anil Kumble, ACA director MSK Prasad, and others spoke.

I remember CBN govt constructed those stadium in HYD & VIZAG in 2002... also gachibowli stadium was nearly 100+ cr .. asallu mana present budget ee games will be aroung 500+ cr .. anyhow my assumptions might be wrong ... ps:- kindhaa matter chadeveee reply vesaaa ..
