Tue 19th Aug 2014 12:27 PM Frankly speaking, Vizag is the best city to be declared as the AP's new capital. Lakhs of crores are not required to build the city, as the city has already consisted of required infrastructure in it. Huge air traffic, amenities for the development of IT industries etc. are the some more advantages Vizag to be developed as the capital city of the AP. In another way, Kurnool can also be considered to be the capital of AP. Kurnool has 5000 acres of government land within the radius of just 10 kms to the city. Moreover, Kurnool was the then capital of Andhra Rashtram. Strangely, the AP government has insisted on one particular place to be made as a capital of the state. In fact, the place has government land of just 500 acres. It is famous for political and caste based rowdyism. Even then the government has reportedly preferred this place just for the cause of caste factors. Political analysts feel if the government is stubborn on its decision on the new capital, no wonder, AP state would divide soon.
