Couple Marries After 50 Years Of Living Together

:An elderly couple married after living together for 50 years. Ramaswamy of Kurupam mandal in Vizianagaram district and Polamma of Veeraghattam in Srikakulam district have been living together. 

 

They have children and grandchildren too. However, they had not married. As per suggestion of their family members, Ramaswamy tied the knot with Polamma in a temple. They had not thought about marriage until recently. They were of the opinion that mingling of souls was more important than marriage.

 

They were recently asked by members of the family to get married. The pressure from family members drove them to the Kalyana Mandapam. Ramaswamy, 73, married Polamma, 67 in the presence of all family members at Venkateswara Swamy temple Thotapally.
