ATRI Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Informatica production support lo u have to fix any data issues or session failures in batch scheduling. firstly u have to know to complete architecture of the your datawarehouse (sources might be mainframe, flat files and Target database, if it is Teradata any loaders) Secondly: end -to-end data flow, for example if you have any issue in staging, you should be able to identify the next sessions that needs to be triggered by finding out the dependencies of that session. creating a label and do a static deployment for every fix if you make it for multiple sessions. unix scripting or shell scripting is necessary to handle the files and check if they are not reached in source location. Static deployment: In static deployment we generally add or remove objects to the deployment group and manually move from one repository to another ( QA to PROD) dynamic deployment ( sorry nenu epudu cheyaledu) : oka set of objects anni kalpi same like static but query ni generate chestaru... general ga frequent changes or weekly deployments for the code unapudu use chestaru..aa set of objects lo edina changes chesina just play button laga untundi.. venteney anni objects refresh avutayi... For both the deployments the changes should be checked in otherwise it won't consider.... Advantages are we can rollback all the changes with the previous objects using deployment groups. emina mistakes unte correct cheyandi plz....
