This is about the religion - be it Hindusim, Islam..what ever its.

One of the most intelligent persons, Albert Einstein, has put it so well in his words.

"The religion should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity".

You can infer weather any of the religions has been able to contribute towards the meaningful unity and harmony of the human world without choosing the personal god. I am humbled by the intelligent, logic, rationality and objective analysis of great thinkers like Albert Einstein, Plato, Aristotle and Socrates. Most of the religions follow the belief systems and are inherently dogmatic (Abrahamic religions or the religions originated in the Indian sub-continent).

Dogma is doctrine that is proclaimed as true without proof. In Psychology, a mistaken or unfounded opinion, idea or belief is called delusion. If one person suffers from a delusion, we call it insanity and if many people suffers from delusion we call it religion. Belief is cognitive content held as true or a vague idea in which some confidence is placed. If you look at the essence of belief it does not consider these characteristics - logic, rationality and objective analysis which are the pillars of our human race to survive for millions of years from many odds in the evolution and to be where we are today. You can see it yourself to conclude weather the religion has  contributed to help mankind. Again, we can say that it has contributed enormously towards the charity and unifying the small/large groups of people at certain places in the world. But the cost of that is encouraging the belief system thus by suppressing the logic, rationality and objective analysis (These attributes can also provide the charity) and further dividing the human race which was already divided based on the ethnicity, region and language.

Here is a short video. I felt it may explain very well. And think and watch this video coming completely out of your own context of how you are brought up in your childhood and after childhood, and also forget who your parents are and which religion they belong to.

Neevy nee picchi poovu question. Ok, which god created you, me and the world? Why do you have to personalize or sectarianize the god?? I believe in the one who created everything.

The Indian Nobel Prize-winner Amartya Sen, in an interview with Pranab Bardhan for the California Magazine published in the July–August 2006 edition by theUniversity of California, Berkeley states:[27]

“ In some ways people had got used to the idea that India was spiritual and religion-oriented. That gave a leg up to the religious interpretation of India, despite the fact that Sanskrit had a larger atheistic literature than what exists in any other classical language. Madhava Acharya, the remarkable 14th century philosopher, wrote this rather great book called Sarvadarshansamgraha, which discussed all the religious schools of thought within the Hindu structure. The first chapter is "Atheism" – a very strong presentation of the argument in favor of atheism and materialism. ”

According to Markandey Katju, Chairman of the Press Council of India and former judge of the Supreme Court of India, eight out of the nine systems of Hindu Philosophy are atheistic, as they do not have a place for God in them. Only one of the nine systems, Uttara Mimansa, which is also called Vedanta, has a place for God in it.[28]
