This was conveyed to PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi when she had a one-on-one meeting with Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Wednesday. According to a statement from the Food Processing Ministry, Badal asked Nooyi to bring down the sugar content in PepsiCo soft drinks. PepsiCo makes Pepsi cola and Mountain Dew. Nooyi said PepsiCo is already paying attention to the need of introducing healthy products in the market, the statement added. This was conveyed to PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi when she had a one-on-one meeting with Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal. The World Health Organisation has recommended six teaspoons sugar per day for a normal adult.
