Urgent Medical Emergency Bill Help

My cousin's father who is on visiting visa had an emergency heart attack one week back and got admitted into one of the private hospital in USA. He is carrying Indian travel medical Insurance from India had an angioplasty and had one stunt too, stayed in hospital for 10 days. Ippudu problem enti ante medical bill baga ayyindi and Indian Travel medical Insurance vallu respond avatam manesaru. They can't afford to pay their bills since its very high. Is there any way to come out of this tough situation since its more than 150k. Please post some valuable suggestions if someone by chance went through this bad phase.. No spamming please

In our case Indian medical insurance assured they will cover upto 250k Bro...Nill response...After 90 mins wait time also no one is answering the call... In our case we are some wot proactive and told the hospital folks that we can't bear these expenses.... They came down to 50k but still its a big amount....Need some valuable suggestions...

sorry for the situation bro...but gud tht ur father is here n he received gud care from medical n personal perspective. ..ikkada ela handle chesina...keep all documents even small expenses tht incur on this n file a case on tht insurance company .... please do not let go off them n don't let this thing repeat....Thanks

Dude did your cousin sign any papers that he is liable to pay...if not then hospital and collection agents cannot come to youur cousin...

 

but indeed if he signed then best way is to talk with hospital...there will be some charity wings within the hospital which will bear the costs not sure of the details but contact the hospital...

 

if you signed the liability to pay then talk with hospital...even if its 50k or 100k tell the hospital you cannot afford but will make monthly payments like 50dollars or 100 dollars max  and come with a payment plan....
