Sandeep Desai is a professor with an MBA degree. But instead of teaching in schools, he travels in Mumbai's local trains collecting money.

But he's not begging. Desai runs 4 English medium primary schools in Rajasthan and Maharasthra where education is completely free. And he funds these schools by seeking donations in local trains.

His reasoning is simple. Everywhere else, people are too busy and preoccupied to pay heed to his message. But in the trains, they aren't really doing anything. They have the time to listen to him and empathize with his cause.
