Balakrishna Says I Am A People's Hero

Balakrishna has completed 40 years in the industry. To mark the occasion, he gave interviews to various media houses.

As a part of the interview, Balakrishna was asked why people were intimidated by him. Balayya made it clear that he was an easy to approach person who had an accommodating nature. But due to some characters where he had to wield swords and axes, people had formed a wrong opinion about him, he says.

But he was quick to add that while he was friendly by and large, he does not encourage people who tend to take advantage of him. He says he immediately cuts them short and becomes a nightmare for his detractors.

Balayya also reminds that unlike the younger heroes who go about with lots of security, he is the only actor who dares to shoot in places like Simhachalam and Visakhapatnam with almost no security. ‘One needs guts to do that’, he says.
