Actual ga jarigindi idi. It is started in congress government. Bids were invited and two companies were in competition. One is L&T and other is MAYTAS(SATYAM owned by Ramalingaraju).Finally it was awarded to MAYTAS as government said L&T did not submit enough documents and disqualified. Maytas don't have the capability to build this big project and also satyam issue came in because of financial troubles. In Rosaiah government it was approved to LT as it was the only company in contention. They did all the land aquisition by 2012 and works started in 2012. Now you can decide why it was late. If it was given to rightful contender by this time metro would have been done
