Idli Kills A Man.....

Idli has killed a 55-year-old man and what you read is right. The unfortunate incident took place when an eating competition gone wrong. 55-yr-old Kandamuthan from Palakkad of Kerala had participated in an eating contest held on the Thiru Onam day on Monday in his locale. 

When Kandamuthan was in hurry to grab the title, one of the Idli piece had got stuck in his throat causing suffocation to him. 55-yr-old Kandamuthan had breathed his last at a local hospital. Binge eating was said to be the reason for Kandamuthan's death. The competition was held by a local arts club. With this, the happy occasion of Onam turned out to be a sad day for his family, relatives.
