User990 Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Hi I filed change of status on Aug 20 from h4 to f1, it is under processing. But now university is saying that it will defer i20 to jan 2015. Any idea ... If it causes any issues since change of status is under processing. Thanks

Thanks Until your F1 is approved you will be on H4 provided your spouse H1 is valid

COS F1 ki maraka he should take full course load until he get some kind of approval from his DSO or else Assamey...if he differ his I20 i think he can't stay here for 3 months......andhukey if you see F1 students are allowed to the country only before 1 month of start of his course work
