Kcr Announces 1 More Crore To Sania

Telangana CM KCR on Thursday announced Rs 1 crore to tennis star Sania Mirza for winning the U.S. Open mixed doubles title.

Tennis ace Sania Mirza is the brand ambassador of Telangana state.

 

In a statement, KCR said Sania's victory would inspire many others. Rao said the government would provide all necessary help to her. The government would felicitate Sania soon, he said.

Sania and Brazilian Bruno Soares won the U.S. Open mixed doubles title last Friday. Top-seeded Sania and Soares won 6-1 2-6 11-9 at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
