CM sanctioned Rs 25 Lakh to Suryavamshi Hemalatha, a Power Lifter from Bellampalli in Adilabad dist. Hemalatha had won Gold Medal in 2002 Asia Games.
Hemalatha met Chief Minister at secretariat today and narrated how she was discriminated in a United AP state. She broke down while explaining that after devoting her entire life to the sport she has been facing severe economic problems now.
CM has assured her that the Telangana State government would provide her with a government job, and a house along with the cash reward.
