Centre Dashes Naidu's Hopes

Pouring cold water on the grand capital plans of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the Centre has said it would provide financial assistance for the construction of only certain government buildings as it does not have money to spare for all the new buildings.

Dejected government officials now say the funds from the Centre may not exceed Rs 5,000 crore, most of which would be used up for the construction of a new Raj Bhavan, assembly, secretariat and high court. "The Centre has provisionally agreed to give money only for a few important buildings. We have estimated that it would be around Rs 5,000 crore," said a senior official.

special status doubtful till next 5 months as there are election in 6 states and most of these states are also demanding for special status .If they give specials status to AP now,BJP will be under pressure from these states and it will be an election issue

The total central funds for building naya Raipur is not more than $10,000 crores in installments (10 yrs) Why will BJP give lakhs of crores that too to a state not ruled by BJP and do you think Modi forgot How CBN has criticized Modi and Modi was the reason(Godhra incident) that made TDP cut ties and walk out from last NDA government.Modi  inclined to ally with TDP as he thought atleast 10 to 12 seats from TDP may hel him to form government .

Modi knows that CBN will not allow BJP to grow in AP and he will not give credit to CBN  by granting AP what ever it aks for !
