When the delivery guy came to deliver gas today, I asked him about the weighing machine. He replied that the machine is in another auto. 

I questioned him how he left the gas godown without weighing machine. He gave an excuse that this one is a new auto and they havent got the weighing machine yet on this one.

I insisted that he should go to his office and get the weighing machine. I asked him to leave the full cylinder at my door and take the empty cylinder with him. 

He called his boss and made me speak to the boss. The boss gave another excuse - the machine is not working hence they gave it for repair. He requested me to trust him on the weight of the cylinder and accept the delivery.

When he asked for payment, I said "I want you to trust me and assume that I made the payment. Go to your office and check your pockets. You will find my payment., If you dont find the payment in your pocket, then bring the weighing machine and get the money".

He didnt say anything and hung up. The delivery boy went back to his office and brought the weighing machine. The cylinder weighed perfectly fine. I made the payment.

Then I called the distributor at the agency and informed him about this incident. He assured that such incidents will be avoided in future.
