ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో నిరంతరాయ విద్యుత్ సరఫరాపై కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల మధ్య ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. ఒప్పంద పత్రాలను కేంద్ర విద్యుత్ శాఖ మంత్రి పీయూష్ గోయల్, ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబుకు అందజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శులు కూడా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఒప్పందం ప్రకారం అక్టోబర్ 2 నుంచి రాష్ట్రంలో నిరంతర విద్యుత్ అమల్లోకి రానుంది. 6,500 మెగావాట్ల విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్టులకు నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించి కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల మధ్య ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. విశాఖలో 4వేల మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యం కలిగిన థర్మల్ విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్టు, అనంతపురం, కర్నూలు జిల్లాల్లో 2,500 మెగావాట్ల సౌర విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్టుల కోసం ఈ మేరకు ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది.

    The Central sponsorship NTPC Limited, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited has entered into agreements with the State government of AP in the presence of Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.According to this, AP will be witnessing the 24/7 hours power supply starting from October 2nd. Union minister Piyush Goyal, on this occasion said that A.P is going to become world's largest solar park with the committments shown by CM Chandrababu.

With CBN there is no walking, we have to only run with him. we had the proposal on June 27th, in exactly 50 days the project was finalised, I had never seen the state do it. running with him is  delight. he is the first chief minister in Delhi to meet me when i took incharge as power minister. he is the first CM to come with list of demands. every time i meet him i learn something from him. Ap will be the worlds largest solar power state. - piyush goyal
