Question For H1B Interview

I booked my appointment for Interview  with my old I-797 number two months back , now i got my new  I-797 number .

. Almost all of the visa slots were booked. I don't see any provision to update the appointment with the new petition number. For me to update the petition I need cancel the current appointment and need to make new appointment with the new petition number. Even on the visa appointment confirmation letter the petition number doesn't show up. Still Can I attend the visa interview which is booked with the old petition number by including the new petition number in DS-160 forms? Will it be a problem? I will be carrying both the I-797 forms with me. Do I need to update the petition number before I go for the interview? Please suggest me. Thanks in advance.

yes u can usvisa-info site lo reschedule appointment midha click cheyyi(donot reschedule or confirm anything)

just follow the steps ..oka daggara nee reciept number enter cheyyamantundhi adhi enter chesi click on save....

 

 

agaian donot change any date or do any date selection...just chnage the recipet number

naku telsindhi chepthunnanu.......neeku pre check chesetappudu if u present the latest i797 on which ur planning to attend they'll accept this is the worst case scenario.....just explain them abt the updated i797 ..i dont think they will make this an issue
