samsung----some $ for R&D and most $ for marketing....finally they dont make much coz marketing costs is almost equal to manufacturing costs...so less profit margin.

 

Apple---- some $ for R&D and very little $ for marketing.....finally they make huge profits on each device.

thats only the price of the components ... R&D costs already he would have got back in 1week .... 1week lo he sold 10million devices anta ..phone is selling for 650$minimum daanlo minimum 200$ per device eskunna kaani ..its equal to 2billion $ ... easy ga vachesi untadi r&d meeda spend chesinadi ...whatever he makes from now on is pure profit.

wrong bahyya......samsung manufacturing costs are way high than apple.

 

lets compare both flagship phones s5 and iphone 6.

s5 has higher specs than iphone 6 in every aspect and costs more obviously.

the processor used in s5 is 801 snapdragon from qualcomm which samsung should buy and apple built their own processor a8(ofcourse they outsourced to china).

 

s5 has 16mp camera with tons of features and iphone 6 has 8mp camera with some s/w updates. so obviously camera costs more for samsung.

 

s5 has 2800mah battery and iphone 6 has 1850mah.

s5 2gb ram vs iphone 6 1gb ram.

additionally s5 has ip67 water resistance and dust proof certification which obviously cost them $ to take certification.

 

so even though samsung has own manufacturing units most of the parts are outsourced and some bought.

only advantage samsung has is super amoled screen which is buit by samsung itself.
