The Japan has agreed to extend their support in the construction of the metro rail project in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam and also in the development of smart cities by the Union Government , says Union cabinet Minister for Urban development Venkaiah Naidu . Minister Vebkaiah who met the Japan representatives has discussed with them on the metro rail as well as the smart cities concept and revealed that a plan will be soon drafted in this regard .
