S.O. 2445(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Metro 

Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978), the Central Government, in the Ministry of Urban 

Development, vide its notification number S.O. 153(E), dated the 24th January, 2012, has applied the Metro Railways 

(Construction of Works) Act, 1978 to the Metropolitan Area of Hyderabad.

2. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 32 of the 

Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978, the Central Government hereby adds the following metro alignment 

of Hyderabad Metro Rail Corridors Phase-I in respect of the metropolitan area of Hyderabad to the Schedule of the said 

Act, namely :—

మెట్రో వివాదం నేపథ్యంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం గెజిట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేసింది. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం విడుదల చేసిన గెజిట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ ప్రకారం హైదరాబాదు మెట్రో రైల్ నిర్మాణంలో మార్పులు చేర్పులు సాధ్యం కావు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు, సీఎస్... కేంద్ర హోం శాఖ, పీఎంవో అధికారులను కలిసిన తరువాత మెట్రో వివాదంపై కేంద్రం ఎలాంటి చర్యలు తీసుకోదని రాజకీయ విశ్లేషకులు భావించారు. 

వారి అంచనాలను తలకిందులు చేస్తూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం హైదరాబాదు మెట్రో మొదటి దశకు సంబంధించి గెజిట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేసింది. గెజిట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ లో ఉన్నటువంటి రూట్ కారిడార్ 1, కారిడార్ 2, కారిడార్ 3 లలో ఏవైనా మార్పులు చేర్పులు చేయాలంటే కేంద్రాన్ని సంప్రదించాల్సిందే. కేంద్రం కూడా అలైన్ మెంట్ లో నేరుగా మార్పులు సూచించేందుకు ప్రయత్నించకూడదు. 

పార్లమెంటులో చట్టం చేసిన తరువాతే అలైన్ మెంట్ లో మార్పులు చేపట్టాల్సి ఉంటుంది. అయితే, ఎలివేటెడ్ కారిడార్ ను మాత్రం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం హయాంలో పెట్టారు. తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రకటించిన ప్రకారం, అసెంబ్లీ ముందు, సుల్తాన్ బజార్ ప్రాంతంలో అండర్ గ్రౌండ్ మెట్రో రైల్వే లైన్ కూడా సాధ్యం కాదని గెజిట్ లో స్పష్టం చేశారు. దీంతో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం, ఎల్ అండ్ టీ సంస్థ మధ్యనున్న విభేదాలను కేంద్రం పరిష్కరించినట్టైంది. తాజా గెజిట్ తో మెట్రో పనుల్లో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రమేయం నామమాత్రం కానుంది.
