Mahesh babu tho... 4cr- for hero 4cr - for Director.. migithadi production karchulu.... and that movie collected 50Crs anuko... Apudu Producer and Distributors ki full labham.. hero and director ki bokka kada yeah remuneration based on profits aithey ayipothundhi kadha cinema emaina naa money naadhey antey baagupadedhi only 2 people bokka padedhi 100's of people ki..

While this concept may sound a little unrealistic, something along these lines is being mooted by exhibitors and distributors of Telugu Films. A resolution was moved in Vishakhapatnam today by the body of exhibitors and distributors, seeking recovery of losses from directors and heroes of big budget films if the project bombs. The resolution will come up for discussion in Hyderabad on Monday, where a final decision will be taken. Distributors and exhibitors are facing a very grim situation right now, with back to back Box Office flops of high profile projects like ‘Aagadu’, ‘Rabhasa’ and ‘Sikandar’. A lot of money has been lost in these films and fingers are being pointed at the huge remunerations being charged by directors and heroes for the escalating costs of films. ” Top heroes like Pawan, Mahesh and NTR are charging anywhere between 12- 16 Crores. Directors like Sreenu Vaitla, Vinayak and Trivikram charge between 8- 12 Crores. With a huge burden on producers with these costs, theatrical rights are being sold for unreasonably high prices. As a result, if the film flops, distributors are becoming homeless”, said a well known distributor from Kurnool.
