Last stamping Company A .... A was aquired by B. Now the I797 is on Company B.

 

Am i eligible for Visa Waiver program ?? %$#$

 New company is technically same.... but I797 payina name changed kada.... andukani asking...

I797 payana name change ante ....is this a sis comapny ...If it is ur not eligible...

If you hold an H1-B or Individual L1-A or L1-B visa that is still valid or expired within the last 12 months, you may qualify for the Interview Waiver Program.  To qualify, the petitioner must be the same as on your initial visa, however, the end client need not be the same.  You must present a current, valid I-129, LCA, Petitioner Letter to USCIS and pay slips showing your salary for the preceding three (3) months. 

 

 

Overview

Repeat travelers to the United States may, under some circumstances, renew their visas without appearing at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for an interview. Additionally, some governments allow their citizens to travel with a valid visa in an expired passport, provided the traveler also has a valid passport. If your government allows travel with a valid visa and a combination of an expired and valid visa, then the U.S. government will allow you to travel to the United States with your old passport containing a valid visa and your new, valid passport.

Qualifications

You may submit your visa application at a Team Stanley location as either an Interview Waiver or Drop-Box submission and proceed without a consular interview if you meet all of the following qualifications:

INTERVIEW WAIVER PROGRAM "DROP-BOX" CHECKLIST

If you can answer “yes” to all of the following questions, you may qualify for our Interview Waiver Program “Drop-box”. You do not need to schedule an appointment at a Visa Application Center. Please login, create your profile, proceed with your application and print 2 copies of the submission letter. Drop off your passport along with the listed documents mentioned on the submission letter at one of the 11 service centers.

Eligibility Criteria for all applicants except child below 14 years and applicant above 80 years of age:

  • My most recent visa was issued in India
  • I received my visa after January 1, 2008
  • My prior visa is not annotated “Clearance Received” or “Department Authorization”.
  • My most recent visa (in the same class for which I am applying) was not lost or stolen.
  • My most recent visa (in the same class for which I am applying) was issued on or after my 14th birthday
  • I have no refusals for a visa in any category after my most recent visa issuance
  • I have a previous U.S. visa in the same class as the visa for which I wish to renew;
  • If I am applying for a B1/B2, C1D, or J visa, my prior visa in the same classification is still valid or expired within the last 48 months;OR
  • If I am applying for an F/M/J visa, my prior visa in the same classification and same Academic Institution is still valid or expired within the last 48 months; Note: F/M visa interview applicants must submit their original I-20 form and J visa interview waiver applicants must submit their original DS-2019 form along with their passport.OR
  • If I am applying for an H or L (individual) visa, my prior visa in the same classification with the same petitioner is still valid or expired within the last 12 months. Note: Blanket L1 visa applicants do not qualify,but Blanket L2 spouses are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for Child below 14 years:

  • Valid visa copy of the same visa category of either parents in which the child is applying

Eligibility criteria for applicants over 80 years of age:

  • Applying on or after 80th birthday
  • My most recent visa application was not refused.

Stamp valid vunte no need to go for stamping again, just carry your new I797 while travelling

 

 

We are good to travel with valid stamp and should carry below docs:

 

1.       Passport with valid visa

2.       Original I797 notice of approval 

3.       Copy of I129 petition with LCA

4.       Few recent pay stubs

5.       Currently dated letter verifying your employment

This is completely different case....my visa already expired..... i may be eligibel for a interview waiver.... if same employer files I797 again....
