TS GENCO has an installed power generating capacity of about 4,364 MW and has technical capability in the area of installing, owning, operating as well as maintaining power plants, the release said. BHEL has already executed thermal power projects in Telangana in Bhupalapally, Singareni Colleries and Kothagudem, whose performance is above the national average in terms of plant load factor, the release said. The Chief Minister reposed faith and confidence in BHEL, which would execute the project as the nominated engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contractor within three years, the release added.

crying kadhu kani 3 yrs lo 6000MW doesnt sound realisitc.... but depends on how hard the govt presses BHEL and how efficiently BHEL can get this done.... 

 

5 years sounds more realistic to me....

 

I worked in a EPC company for about 3 years including my internship so I know how things work... India lo kabatti inkonchem slow avthai ani assumption....

crying kadhu kani 3 yrs lo 6000MW doesnt sound realisitc.... but depends on how hard the govt presses BHEL and how efficiently BHEL can get this done.... 

 

5 years sounds more realistic to me....

on an other note.. BHEL can supply all the equipment including turbines so process can be quicker instead of depending on other manufacturing companies.... all in all it boils down to how serious they are

Hope So.. but its an open secret.. Unless there is power surplus.. KTR KCR brand hyderabad ni entha promote chesina no use.. So I am sure they will follow a strict timeline and get this done..

planning problem kadhu... as I said govt pressing batti untundhi.... private company aina L&T deal chesthunna metro choosthunnam kada.... evo oka addankulu tho delay avthundhi....

yes they should... electricity is definitely a pressing issue....
