MegaPowerRockstar Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Hi Guys, I need some help in implementing the below criteria... I need to use ssrs reports and display letters .... I have a query it pulls multiple records (different people). I need to show those rows by using a letter template. I am able to show single letter by getting associated fields for this letter from database and displaying.... but i need to show all the letters in a single report..by reading multiple rows and populating on the letter... is it possible ? if so pls provide some info on how to implement it.....

dotnetrockz Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 on a hig level understanding i think u shud use sub reports like display all teh records in a grid like format and when u collapse(+) the record id or employee id.....it shud call a subreport (template) and display all the values for this report)

MegaPowerRockstar Posted October 7, 2014 Author Report Posted October 7, 2014 GO slow.....what do you mean by letter is it like a reciept or notcie which companies usually send like credit card companies prequalified letetr? what mean here about letter is.... i have a template similar to a credit card / insurance enrollment letter welcoming people.... so the template is common.... the only thing i need to populate on these letters is there name and location from db.... if i have 3 rows for that query then i need to show 3 letters in a single report with their respective names and location info
