I guess he does not mean costly lands aroudn Hyderabad..but remote agricultural lands for which Government is offering to pay upto Rs 10 Lakhs per acre

I know many people who have ancestoral properties in villages which are not used for many years..NRI's are targetted becuase they anyway don't use the land nor have time to sell their land..and it is hard for them to find a buyer (in remote villages) who can buy thier entire land and pay in cash( in one instalment and without any hassles )

 

BTW the land is for distributing to Landless poor in villages
