When I lost my passport they behaved like a s hit jus even to handover my passport. They never answer your calls Call the Chicago consulate and try to get info as much as you can but remember in New York consulate there is token system u shud take one before 12 or so and then if they process your thing u will receive either same day or the next day next week what ever time is better u go as early u can I think u shud dedicate a day for that Ppl get their lunch boxes and wait for hours lol
