Flipkart Sold-Out Their Credibility With Their ‘Big Billion Day’ Sale!

Flipkart opened its biggest online sale titled ‘The Big Billion Day’ on Monday morning. The sale which is to be held on 6th October is billed as India’s largest discount sale ever.

But it seems like Flipkart’s ‘Big Billion Day’ sale is facing consumer backlash on social media. The sale is being talked about across Facebook and Twitter for all the wrong reasons

When I saw it was 41% discount, when i clicked it came down to 33% and when i blinked it was 18% @Flipkart 's #BigBillionDay is a joke!

Many consumers claim that prices on the website were inflated over the past couple of days and therefore the discounts running today are not genuine. Some consumers have posted screenshots that justifies their claim.

So you guys hiked price yesterday & selling at same price in name of #bigbillionday? Dear @Flipkart we're not stupid

It seems Flipkart has increased the pricing of products prior to the discount sale and is now selling in discounts in ‘Big Billion Day’ sale!

Flipkart claim to give 30%-90% discounts on most products. The backlash started when some consumers took the pain to check out whether these claims of discount were real or not. Turns out Flipkart has indeed increased the pricing of some products prior to the discount sale and is now selling those products in discounts in ‘Big Billion Day’ sale. A cheap technique to mislead consumers to thinking that, Flipkart is selling products on huge discounts.

The consumers also say that offers advertised by Flipkart in the newspapers are not available on the website. That’s not all; many consumers who attempted to make purchases on Flipkart were greeted with sold-out messages or server errors. Some even complained that, products on cart “vanished” automatically.

Professional Cheaters.. ‪#‎flipkart‬ ‪#‎BigBillionDay‬ ‪#‎TheBigBillionDay‬

1. They have increased the price of products and now giving off on those products. When I compared them with other sites, flipkart is still selling at high price.
2. On homepage they are showing some products ‪#‎SoldOut‬ which were never available.. They are showing just to convince people.
3. Site's affiliate program is not working.

Flopkart.com : There is "The BIG BILLION DAY" tomorrow on flipkart.com and apparently it's the giant sale ever in the history of eCommerce.

Wow, sounds fab and all are gearing up to make the most of these discounts offered, including myself. They also suggested that we should add up products on to our 'Wishlist' so that as soon as sale opens @ 8 am on 6th October, we can 'Buy' and avail monstrous discounts.

Was all charged up and spent lot of time navigating through the site and adding items to my cart & letting my friends know about it too. I was surprised to see how they used foolish tactics of class 4th, by raising 60-70% costs on all products few days before the sale, so on the D day they can claim to have offered supreme deals.

I bought a dress worth Rs 899 this week (see my shipment details in image enclosed) and today i was shocked to see the rate which was increased to Rs 1899, which on the sale day would again be Rs 899

You have Lost Trust of a Very Loyal customer my dear Fraudkart.com!
