A 2 TB Hard drive A new pair of shoes A backpack And I was disappointed. As fuck, I might add. But since the day of the “Big Billion Day” Sale I have seen nothing on my newsfeed except articles, posts, open letters, memes, accusations flung into Flipkart’s face telling them how they’ve let us down. You know what, I think it’s pathetic. I think it so pathetic that people can’t get over this shit. How many of you people have computer science degrees? How many of you know what a server is? Do you know how difficult it is to set up a company with about 6000 people if not more, which is constantly expanding? Expanding so much that they have to shift offices or rent new places every few months? People talk about how Flipkart is a homegrown product/service and that we had faith in it, and now it’s gone. That’s BULLSHIT. They have their back against the wall. Amazon is trying to take over the market, they’re putting in money like crazy just trying to compete. Instead of helping Flipkart out, at this crucial stage, when they just wanted to try something new, take a plunge, you’re going to criticise, because all you people out there can handle 6000(approx) people working for you. Because all you people out there can manage servers (and know what a server is) and I’m sure everyone of you has the guts to do something as massive as this even though the stakes, the risks, and the investment are so high. Can the people of this country stop trying to get a freebie, just once? For fuck’s sake. Mistakes are made by the biggest and the best. I want to see Amazon and Flipkart battling it out, and to be honest I’m rooting for the home team. Amazon is good, sure. But you know what, Flipkart has bigger guts. Amazon just has tons of money. That in itself makes me say they fucked up, but it’s ok, next time they won’t. I don’t work for Flipkart, nor am I being paid for this. But I am sick and tired of hearing about this for so many days. You’re a bunch of ungrateful people who just want free shit. And that’s the reason when the sale started you couldn’t get anything, because other people like you bought it first. And so fast, that it was over. Imagine a situation where Dominos comes up with a campaign “Ten Minutes Nahi to Free”, fuck I know you, I know all of you. You’re all going to order and do the same thing to them. Ungrateful fuckers we have in this country who don’t appreciate that there are people far better and far more smart taking bigger risks than you, and sure they’ve failed but they TRIED. I’m sure half of you can’t even text your crush. Or couldn’t even tell your parents you loved someone so instead settled for an arranged marriage. Pathetic. These guys took on Amazon, and they’re battling it out everyday. I’m a nobody, but I say that we get over it and fucking help them. Because I want these guys to succeed. Mistakes are made, forgiving them is what counts. They didn’t really cheat you, you were greedy, and didn’t want to pay. GET OVER IT. HONESTLY. GET FUCKING OVER IT. To Sachin and Binny Bansal, or as I would like to refer to you, The Bansal Twins: Don’t fuck up again. This game isn’t for people who aren’t prepared. You worried Jeff Bezos so much that he had to fly to India a few days ago. I like that. But fucking hell, get your shit together, I am giving you another chance because I want to. And because I know that I could never do what you guys are doing and I respect that. But for god’s sake spend the extra money on a double spread ad next time. Those Snapdeal guys had you by the balls (bansal balls). You were almost there. Get back in the game, let’s see round two. You aren’t fully forgiven, you’re being permitted to sing me love songs and get me back to buying shit from you. So tread cautiously. There will not be a next time after this. Take risks. but delay taking those risks even if there is a minor chance of error. Fix those errors. Every bug should be stress tested. Fuck those servers up during testing. You’re dealing with a “Greedy Fucking Nation”. Btw, can the country now get back on track and worry about the government, women’s rights, racism, and other more important things. One fucked up sale has gotten people to ignore these important matters yet again. Humanity is Fucked. Thanks, you complete assholes.
