About twenty km out of Mysore city i finally located the site of this Yaga. Sadly, it was over by the time i reached there, and this was the only billboard at the venue. Note how they have changed it to "Loka Kalyana" (for the good of the world) and sadly no mention of Aliens.

Sort of creepy

This was the clearing in which the Yaga took place through the night apparently. It looked sort of sinister and my friend and I thought of bugging out of there while we still had the chance.

But curiosity!

Gathered up our wits and got down from the car and spoke to the locals who were standing around. They apparently sacrificed a silk saree worth 30K and a gold ring and what not. These guys actually believe aliens will come down shortly. I said something about "will publish in a magazine" and shot this pic. Overall crazy experience!
