KeyserSoze Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 okay this is going to be a big rant on flipkart and its practices based on my observations......koncham detailed ga raasina so with me I agree that flipkart has been excellent in making timely deliveries and good customer service. But bigbillionday was a big disaster for majority of people and company(PR wise). Its true that they hav botched up prices on bigbillionday like increasing prices on items and then marking discounts on increased prices. This can be observed by people who regularly visit and keep a watch on Items(me being oneof them) and I feel this as cheating. Most people who bought goods that day were never a regular followers and felt that items were indeed on big discounts. Thats how they made 600cr. Now the thing abt products with huge discounts that they put up were very limited and went out of stock in milliseconds(wonder how).Even if you were lucky and able to order one, most people got their order cancelled on discounted items. Now you say that their account has been credited with rs500 and rs1500 for some. This is outright looting coz once the order gets thru the money gets debited from ur account. But on cancelling the order you get ur money back only after 10 days or in some cases 15 days.This is making money without selling anything. Also the money credited as convenience can only be used with ws retail(thier own retailshop) and u cannot make a purchase from other sellers. so all in all I think it was a disaster and they acknowledged it. Flipkart if not for good delivery time and customer service is no better than its competitors.

PS: I am not supporting flipkart it should have done far better but ide day US or any place lo pedithe ila ayyedi kadu!!

god father Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 wat abt selling u the shirt-taking money-cancelling the order-keeping your money for 15 days this is huge scam as this scenario was mostly seen in electronic good like mobiles and tvs which are lagre sum orders....most people complained that this happened with moto e and LED tvs. these kind of things are expected and are common in many many ecommerce websites................and this should be rectified.....with the myths running around in india people did not buy at this large scale ............2 years back asalu flipkart ante kona koodadu anukone vallu online asalu konte antha mosam anukone vallu...............sudden ga flipkart service and everything was awesome so people got convinced but flipkart couldnot manage the sudden surge................they have to improve a lot and I believe they can do it!!!

These kind of things should never be accepted in 2014 which affected fairly large no of people. But I feel they did it deliberately and need to take up this issue and spread awareness abt wat is happening. I am not the kind of guy who only speaks if it happens to me or a forgiving person like you for one time error. technical errors are common..but what here seems to me like a strategic one. I think flipkart has people competent enough not to make strategic error. so on many levels this looks deliberate. p.s. pls dont make assumptions that anyone who raises issue had a bad experience that day. This discourages ppl to have healthy discussions.
